Position: Security Consultant
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States
Type: Contract

This opportunity is for an Acess Profile Consultant with a major financial
institution here in Charlotte, NC. Description: Job Description: Access
Profiling Support Position, This position interfaces with Line of Business
(LOB) contacts to develop access profiles. Access profiles define internal user
system access rights based on a job function. The incumbent will: " Organize,
schedule, and lead telephone meetings with the line of business. " Follow up on
issues to ensure closure and escalate to management as needed. " Be comfortable
communicating at various levels of management. " Provide customer service to
the LOB and answer any profile questions. " Track and report on project
progress. " Utilize an in-house application and the Control-SA Enterprise
Security Station Console system to update and maintain the profile. " Obtain
required approvals and implement changes to profiles. " Coordinate efforts with
other Information Security departments, as needed. " Identify and imp
lement any process / workflow improvement opportunities Skills and Experience
" 3+ years of information security and/or information technology experience. "
Strong interpersonal skills/team player. Act as a liaison between the LOB and
other information security groups. " Strong meeting facilitation skills. "
Effective verbal and written communication skills - Listen and clarify internal
customer requirements, discern and document issues, identify and implement
corrective action.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

*Required: A broad knowledge of information security principles (e.g, dual
control, authorization, authentication, access control, confidentiality,
integrity etc.). " A detailed, access administration knowledge of various
platforms (Mainframe MVS, Windows 2000, UNIX [AIX, Sun/Solaris, Linux, HP],
AS400, Tandem, VAX) and security systems (RACF, Active Directory, etc). "
Attention to detail/quality focus. " Strong organization/project management
skills. Ability to handle several requests simultaneously. " Ability to work
independently with initiative. Willing to learn, motivated. " Strong analytical
problem solving/conceptual thinking " Competency with Microsoft Office
applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
*Desired, but not required: " Detailed, bank specific, access administration
knowledge " Experience with Control-SA Enterprise Security Station Console
tool. " Experience with Microsoft Project. " Relational database knowledge -
experience with Microsoft Access or other relational database. " Professional
certification (CISSP, CISA)
