The User Interface Designer is a key member of the Superior, Colorado, customer
experience team. In addition to being recognized as a leader in the network
security marketplace, StillSecure has set itself apart by uniquely building
very easy to use security products that focus on the usability needs of our
various customer personas. This position requires outstanding skills in user
interface and interaction design and UI coding. The position includes
translating product requirements into user interface designs and design
elements that will be utilized in our core security products. This includes
creating and modifying web application screens, translating paper mockups in
the HTML UI designs, reviewing them with key stakeholders and testing designs
with end users and internal product team members Exceptional oral and written
communication, and customer interaction skills are critical for this position.
Occasional travel to customer sites may be required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
• 2 or more years job experience in web application design
• Fundamental knowledge of UI usability principles
• Ability to apply existing UI standards to user interface designs
• Significant coding experience in HTML, XHTML, DHTML Javascript
• Significant experience in HTML using CSS (Cascading Style Sheets)
• Experience designing and developing in Dreamweaver as well as coding
native HTML
• Working knowledge of Photoshop for the creation, modification, clean up
of graphical images used in icons and other visual elements
• Adobe Illustrator is a plus but not required
Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
