Position: Sales Engineer

Job Title: Sales Engineer
City/Location: Herndon, VA
Job Description: Support the sale and installation of primary
technologies (mostly appliance-based) such as firewall, ssl vpn, intrusion
protection, proxy content filtering and antivirus, email protection systems,
etc.
Candidate needs to be comfortable with learning new technologies, embracing
opportunities to evaluate our vendors’ products technically as well as
from a positioning in the market place. We will look to this person as a guide
to the recommendation of technologies and our clients will be looking to them
to assist them in developing their requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements/Responsibilities & Experience Desired:
• 2-3 years in information security
• Experience with products such as: Check Point, Nokia, Blue Coat, ISS,
F5, Ciphertrust, Secure Computing, RSA, Websense, Trend Micro
• Experience in a quota-bearing selling environment they were responsible
for assisting the sales in meeting a quota.
Minimum Qualifications needed:
• Minimum of 2-3 years in customer-facing technical position
• Minimum of having exposure to information security products.
• Understanding of network and Internet Protocols
