Position: Sr. Security Engineer

Sr. Security Engineer
Great opportunity with a large stable fortune 500 company. Due to promotions we
are looking for a seasoned Sr Security Engineer about 2 years away from
management to join our team and grow with the company.
This position provides provides expert level research and analysis for
planning, organizing, and managing corporate-wide security functions. These
functions consist of organizational and technical infrastructure, policies,
standards and procedures, security baselines and risk assessments, user
awareness and training, compliance, computer incident investigative support and
consulting. Under minimal supervision, this role produces documented frameworks
or architectures, which describe and are used to manage the implementation of
technical security environments. This role researches developments in their
assigned technology disciplines, determines business requirements, proposes
changes, and develops migration and implementation plans as needed. This role
provides input into the security technology plan for the organization, and
ensures that plans for their assigned technology discipline integrate
effectively with other aspects of the technical infrastructure. This role must
a
lso understand and effectively articulate the implications and impact that
proposed architectural changes will have on the business (to technical and
non-technical audiences).

are looking for a strong Sr. Security Engineer with at least 5-7 years
experience including the following required skills:
. Bachelor's degree in computer science, business management, or related field.
. 5-7 years experience in information security.
. A solid technical background working with tools such as BindView, Juniper,
Symantic, ARCsite.
. A broad Background working with Vulnerability Scanners.
. Ability to understand Technical problems and talk with all levels of
management.
. Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) strongly preferred.
Salary to $64,000 - $76,000 + bonus & relocation assistance
