Position: Database Security Engineer
Location: Arlington, Virginia, United States

ORACLE ENGINEER - J2EE and UNIX skills
Our client is seeking Oracle Engineers to design and develop Oracle RDMS
solutions for projects in Arlington, Virginia. NEAR THE METRO and a family
friendly company. This is full time position working directly for the company
seeking to hire.
Position responsibilities include:
Design and implementation of systems architectures to include server
configurations, security administration and network connectivity.
Administration, monitoring, and maintenance of Solaris and Windows servers
hosting N-tiered custom enterprise applications in development, testing, and
production environments.
Configuration management of systems and software deployment, simple shell
scripting, database and application server installation and administration.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Ideal candidates will posses the following skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
At least 3 years experience in Solaris systems administration.
Experience with managed application deployment across multiple environments
(testing, staging, production).
Experience building and supporting UNIX systems (Solaris a big plus) to host
web application and database servers (J2EE and Oracle and plus).
An understanding of network architecture and devices such as routers, switches,
firewalls, and load balancers.
An understanding of n-tiered system architectures to include application and
database server technologies such as J2EE, .NET, and Oracle.
***Active SECRET security clearance a big plus. *****
