The role involves analysis of software vulnerabilities in source code and through blackbox testing. Binary code analysis using reverse engineering and debugging tools may be employed in cases where it is necessary. The role will also involve development of exploit code and signatures for intrusion detection systems JOB REQUIREMENTS --------------------------------------------------- Requirements : Ability to be action-oriented; ability to work with minimum supervision and set priorities; strong problem solving skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to follow through. Bachelor's degree in computer science and at least 2-3 years experience working with: Development of secure software - We require members of our team to be familiar with common software flaws. Internet network protocols - The applicant should have a solid networking background with a complete understanding of the TCP/IP protocol suite. Network security - The applicant should be experienced with network security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, etc. Exploit code development - The applicant should be skilled in quickly developing exploit code for vulnerabilities when information may be limited. This includes exploits for Win32 heap and stack overflow vulnerabilities. A candidate with solid understanding of integer errors, web-based attacks and other vulnerability classes is desired. Binary code analysis/reverse engineering: Experience with binary code analysis a plus.
