Position: Security Consultant
Location: Laval, , Canada
Type: Permanent F/T

Above Security is a Québec-based company specializing exclusively in
information systems security. We are renowned for our security advice, as well
as our remote-monitoring and intruder-detector infrastructure. We serve a
prestigious range of clients for whom computer security is a business necessity
and not just a mere matter of technology.
We are currently looking for a Pre-Sales Specialist – Information Security
to fill a newly created post. The candidate must be passionate about
information security and be able to rise to the challenge in a dynamic and
rapidly expanding business. He/she should also be able to demonstrate strong
personal and interpersonal qualities in presenting the technical aspects of
security to the company's executive members.
Terms of reference:
•Technical sales support
•Executive presentation of client analyses
•Assist the Business Advisory Services Director with security adviser team
management
•Strategic analysis of the network architecture
•Outline and draft security policy
•Conduct risk analysis
•Write executive reports
•Provide recommendations
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Required technical qualifications:
•Sound knowledge of security standards and industrial practices
•Sound knowledge of ISO17799
•Knowledge of risk analysis methods
•Knowledge of conducting security audits
Specific requirements:
•Must be bilingual
•Excellent copywriting skills
•Excellent interpersonal relations
•Very good written and oral communication skills
•Ability to be a good listener
•More than 5 years' relevant experience
•Ideally, consultancy experience
Particular assets:
•CISSP, CISA, or CISM certification
