Technical Account Manager (TAM) - Federal (Washington, D.C.)
Position Responsibilities:
ArcSight Technical Account Manager (TAM) is responsible for the overall success
and referencability of targeted ArcSight customers. The TAM is fully
accountable for client satisfaction, measured through referencability, repeat
business and revenue generation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

The Technical Account Manager is responsible for the following:
Owning the relationship between ArcSight and the customer from initial
implementation through production and onwards. Technical Account Managers act
as a single point of contact that allow customers to quickly and easily
leverage all available ArcSight resources during the entire implementation
lifecycle.
Regular communication between the customer and ArcSight to drive customer
satisfaction by proactively managing and delivering technical information
onsite and over the phone.
Interacting with Engineering, Professional Services and Technical Support
resources to address the urgent technical needs of the project.
Initial troubleshooting and prioritization of technical issues.
Evaluating the state of an implementation to project the upcoming technical
needs of the project and set up the required tasks to address issues before
they become urgent.
The TAM must be familiar enough with the product to answer moderately difficult
technical product questions directly and or assist with resolving issues.
Position Responsibilities:
Linux or UNIX
Windows
Networking
Security (Firewall, IDS, 3rd party system knowledge)
5 Years of proven experience built at software companies
Project Management
Troubleshooting skills
Good communication skills both written and verbal
Desired Experience:
CISSP or equivalent
SIM product experience
Oracle DBMS
Education:
BSCS or equivalent preferred.
