iVOLUTION Technologies is looking for a Security Consultant to perform Network
Security Audits. Position is based in Toronto, Ontario Canada

JOB REQUIREMENTS

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Detect and diagnose application and network security vulnerabilities,
either using source code analysis or black box testing
* Generate reports with identified vulnerabilities to be included as part
of the deliverables sent to the customer.
* Supervise the solutions developed by the client on the reported
vulnerabilities and the suggested actions of leading to mitigation of issues.
Required skills:
* Knowledge of basic information security and cryptography concepts.
* Knowledge of security with Microsoft Operating Systems.
* Knowledge of Intruder detection and prevention techniques and
technologies for both WLAN and LAN.
* Wireless security and wireless infrastructure design.
* Knowledge of security with various Unix / Linux Operating systems
* Knowledge of basic concepts in relational database and SQL language.
* Knowledge of basic security concepts in .NET platform
* Understanding of Network technologies and concepts
* Understanding of IT security architecture and models.
* Understanding of IT security management practices.
* Strong understanding of network traffic / Packet analysis.
* Understanding of security assessment products designed to monitor and
test systems for security vulnerabilities – Retina, NMAP, Nessus, TCPDUMP,
Ethereal.
* Understanding of firewall technologies, access control rule sets and
architectures.
* Advanced TCP/IP networking concepts and associated protocols.
* Experience in Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Testing is an
asset.
* Solid experience with network security technologies.
SOFT SKILLS
* Strong technical acumen.
* Strong analytical, research, writing and communication skills.
* Ability to present advanced technical concepts in a business-like and
professional manner.
* Can work independently with minimal supervision and direction.
REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or related discipline.
* Min 5 years of relevant (proven) work experience as a security consultant
/ analyst.
Languages:
Fluent in English (spoken and written). Required.
Other skills:
* Communicational ability to interact with clients in order to construct
solid client relationships.
* Interest to constantly update his/her knowledge on new techniques,
technologies and new vulnerabilities.
* Contribute and to collaborate with the community of vulnerability
research.
* Capacity to work in teams of high performance.
* Availability to travel abroad.
