Business Analyst C (Physical Security Specialist):
Self Starter, looking for a techno-geek who enjoys challenges, security minded, 
can learn anything and is not married to any one piece of technology. 
Responsible for designing, maintaining, project managing and supporting Access 
Card and Surveillance systems, ID Badging systems, and managing employee access 
to locations (like Data Centers). DataCard and Kantech expertise preferred. 
Duties include the daily monitoring of various security and surveillance 
systems, updating access to sites, vendor management, making new access cards 
and badges, and keeping meticulous records of access. Provide 3rd level support 
or consulting support for other access systems, badging and key control. 
Design, document and project manage vendor installing physical access systems 
including managing the budget. Good project management skills are essential. 
Develop standards and operating procedures for physical security systems and 
administration. Assume a lead technical role. Provide advanced troubl
 eshooting as needed. Analyze and study the technology market and vendor 
products to determine the strategy that best meet the business needs of the 
City. Excellent writing skills needed. Make presentations to the City's 
technical departmental representative and departmental business managers. Sense 
of pride and humor is essential. 


JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor degree in Business, Information Science, or field related to 
area supported plus three (3) years of related experience. • Any 
combination of education and/or work experience will substitute for minimum 
qualifications. • A Master's degree may substitute for two (2) years of 
the required experience. Licenses: Valid TX Class C Driver's License Required. 
Notes: Criminal history background check will be done on all applicants for 
this position.
