Position: Application Security Engineer
Location: St. Louis, Missouri, United States

The SiteMinder Application Integrator is a position on the USDA eAuthentication
project. The responsibilities include working closely with an existing team to
integrate USDA web-based applications with the eAuthentication solution, the
backbone of which is the Computer Associates (Netegrity) SiteMinder web
security product.
The candidate should possess strong communication skills, the ability to
implement and follow rigorous integration and operations type processes, convey
a positive team oriented approach, and show the ability to work independently
without direct daily guidance. The candidate must be willing to perform in a
fast paced, team oriented environment. Candidate must also possess strong
documentation skills. Team leadership or project organization experience is a
major plus.
The position is located in St. Louis, Missouri. The candidate must not only
be technically savvy, but must also be able to communicate on higher level with
less technical and more managerial staff.
The candidate should also show experience in the following technical areas:
Security Software:
* Computer Associates SiteMinder 5.x or higher (formerly Netegrity)
* Experience with SAML technologies.
* Experience with PKI.
Web Servers:
* IIS 5.0,6.0
* Apache (all versions and types)
* Domino
* IBM HTTP Server
Note: This includes the deployment of the SiteMinder web agent on the
above platforms.
Operating Systems:
* Windows 2000 Server
* Windows 2003 Server
* Solaris
* Linux
* HP-UX
* AIX
Directory Servers:
* Microsoft Active Directory
Databases:
* SQL
Programming Languages:
* JAVA
* Microsoft .NET
* JavaScript
* HTML
* ASP
* C/C++
* Perl
Networking:
* Basic knowledge of the TCP protocol.
