Position: Disaster Recovery Coordinator
Location: Weehawken, New Jersey, United States

Citigroup's Technology Infrastructure organization provides worldwide support
to Citigroup businesses in the areas of network & telecommunications support,
systems and application services, and data center operations. With a global
network spanning more than 100 countries, Citigroup Technology Infrastructure
provides Citigroup internal business clients with local and cross-border
technology infrastructure services and integrated reporting and management of
their networks and data centers.
The North America Business Continuity Services group provides support and
management of all DC Testing activities in North America - this position will
be responsible for supporting the lead position in all testing activities
related to the Weehawken data center and Retail business application testing
schedules over the course of the year. In addition, cross training will be
required to support additional testing for the remaining data center locations
in NA on an as needed basis moving forward.
Responsible for participating in the planning and execution site-level data
center disaster recovery tests as well as contributing to the overall
enhancement and optimization of department process and procedures. Specific
responsibilities include: participating in test planning meetings and COB
exercises, creation of pre and post test documentation, post-test reviews, and
adherence to COB testing standards and policies. In addition, the candidate
will be an active participant in the process optimization efforts, reviewing
and evaluating current processes, procedures and tools and making
recommendations for improvements to enhance the overall performance of the
department.
Candidate will have the opportunity to develop, document, and test site-level
data center COB plans across multiple platforms and functional teams. In
addition, develop working relationships with Business Continuity Management,
Applications Development coordinators, System Administration coordinators, and
other TI coordinators. As well as participate in the strategic development and
enhancement of departmental processes and procedures.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

*Candidate must have a history of developing and implementing tactical as well
as strategic solutions geared towards process improvement and maximizing the
efficiency of an operating group.
*Excellent problem solving abilities, proven ability to meet challenging
deadlines and proven ability to prioritize business objectives and effectively
manage multiple projects to fruition in a dynamic environment.
*Must be self-motivated, a team player, and be able to immediately contribute
to a fast paced, deadline-intensive environment.
*Bachelor’s degree in Business or Computer Science, or equivalent
experience, preferred.
*Must have a strong working knowledge and understanding of the various hardware
platforms, network components and applications that make up the Technology
Infrastructure world.
*Must be proficient in the usage of EXCEL and WORD, with ACCESS Database skills
a plus.
*Excellent project management skills with the proven ability to lead
cross-functional teams required.
*Experience in large enterprise environments is important as well.
*Attention to detail a must.
*Excellent communication skills required.
*Must be able to work under pressure, prioritize and organize work, and work as
a member of a team.
