Position: Sr. Security Analyst
Location: Dallas Metro Area, Texas, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2006-01-17
The Network Security Analyst will be responsible for
o Conducting Penetration Tests, Vulnerability Assessments, VoIP Network
Assessments, WLAN Assessments and custom IT Network Assessments.
o Regulatory & Compliance Assessments.
o Up to 60% travel within the US and Canada will be required.
o Support Security Sales Overlay team as Tier III support for customer
opportunities.
o Work with Director of Security Operations to provide input and feedback
into the redesign and upgrading of the SOC.
o Up to 15% of job will be spent giving presentations @ conferences,
workshops and seminars throughout the US and Canada.
o Provide real-time market feedback to the Security Solutions Product
House regarding new industry trends and themes with regard to Legislation,
Regulatory/Compliance and Best Practice Standards/Methods (e.g. COBIT, ITIL,
ISO, et. Al.)
o Hands on Experience conducting assessments for HIPAA,GLBA, SOX and
others.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Hands on experience conducting Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Assessments,
WLAN Assessments, VoIP Network Assessments and custom IT Audits and Assessments.
• Ability to multi-task with three or more projects concurrently.
• Strong security background and broad exposure and understanding of
services that add value to craft a total solution
• Experience managing or implementing operations support systems
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to translate needs and
issues in the field, and sell ideas and solutions to gain buy-in with prospects
and across the organization
• Strongly Desire : Recent (within the last 6 month) experience working
with COBIT, ISO and/or ITIL compliance issues with 2 or more customers/
companies.
An undergraduate degree in a technical discipline is required, Masters degree
in technical discipline is preferred. CISA is preferred. A CISSP and/or Cisco
Security Certification (CCNA, CCSP or CCIE) is desired. Two or more of the
following certifications from SANS (GIAC) are desired : GSAE, G7799, GSNA,
GAWN.
