Position: Security Engineer
Location: Warren, New Jersey, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2006-01-16
Systems Engineer to be part of project team for leading global firm. The goal
of the project is to replace the current NIS+ infrastructure.
Responsibilities include:
• Review issues System Administrators raise by audit and technical
customer base.
• Defining requirements
• Researching for solutions
• Working with multiple vendors to review possible solutions.
• Test possible solutions in a lab environment.
• Documenting test results and product selection.
• Architecting the infrastructure design
• Working with operations to define document operations model
• Ongoing 3rd level support.
• Ongoing support of the architecture and product
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:
• 5+ years experience in systems engineering
• At least BS in computer since or related field.
• In-depth knowledge of one of more of the following.
o Directory services
o Active Directory
o LDAP
o NIS+
• Experience with Sun micro system's Sun1 directory services, CA's
eDirectory, Microsoft's Active Directory, Quest's Vintella product, or
Centrify's Centrify product
• Detailed knowledge of Operating Systems, including Microsoft 2000 and
2003 server, Solaris 8, 9, and 10, AIX 5.2 and 5.3, HP-UX 11.0, 11.11, and
11.23, Red Hat Linux REL 3.0, 4.0
• The ability to work well with both technical professional as well as
non-technical staff.
