Position: Security Consultant
Location: South London, , United Kingdom
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2006-01-15
The ideal candidate must have a presales background.
·Provide both strategic and day to day technical expertise and act as
design and analysis authority on varied and disparate customer solutions for
assigned geography (all of UK and Ireland)
·Develop strong technical relationships at the both end-user and partner
accounts;
·Manage the timely, accurate and quality delivery of solutions and
structured methodology
·Work with Account Executive to identify, qualify, and develop
opportunities within the account
·Develop technical expertise within the geography by delivering leading
edge technical presentations to customer on Professional Services –
Technology and Solutions
JOB REQUIREMENTS

·Conduct technical assessments of client's security environment.
·Maintain a working knowledge of information security products and
services
·Participate in the design and implementation of client solutions, as
well as technical consulting engagements
·Achieve client satisfaction as a result of zero client complaints,
timely deliverables, and add-on business opportunities
·Knowledge of information security controls
·Risk management techniques/principles (ISO7799, 9000 and COBIT)
·Has ability to conduct surveys/audits of installations in a proactive
and pragmatic manner
·Min. 10 years experience in Information Security.
·Identify, record and resolve physical and data security issues: e.g.
information security auditing, developing security policies
·Managing information security projects and training activities along
with management of the physical security aspects of a customers sites in the UK
·Strong knowledge of some of Windows 2000 / XP / 2003, Linux, UNIX,
Oracle, IIS, Apache.
·Strong knowledge of security technologies such as: Firewalls, IDS, PKI,
Encryption, Vulnerability Scanning, Anti Virus, Access Control, Physical
security procedures
·Experience in auditing and some project management experience
·Any of the following security accreditations CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC,
CCIE
·Good knowledge of BS 7799
