Responsibilities: 

Vulnerability Detection/Integration Engineer Responsibilities: Create 
signatures for the QualysGuard product to detect vulnerabilities in the areas 
of Operating System, TCP/IP Protocols, Databases, Applications and network 
devices. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills are a must, as 
solutions to many problems might not be obvious. A vulnerability detection 
engineer should also spend a proportion of time keeping up with current 
vulnerabilities, attacks, and countermeasures. 



JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Qualifications: 

- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience 
- 2-5 years experience administering applications such as web services, e-mail 
services, directory services, authentication methods and network devices. 
- Proficient with C/C++/script language programming and regular expressions. 
- Proficient in sniffing and analyzing protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, 
SQL, RPC, SSL, SSH, windows active directory or SNMP. 
- Good communication and writing skills 

Additional Plus Competencies 

- Past experience with network security products or penetration testing is 
highly desirable.
