Job Description:

The core responsibilities of the Support Renewal Rep are to:
        * Renew existing customers' annual support
        * Continuously Up Sell Sourcefire's technologies and service offerings.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required Skills:

Sales / Industry Experience:

        * 2 to 3 Years of Sales Experience (Inside Sales Preferred)
        * Experience Selling Technology-based products to IT / Network Shops
        * Experience selling to Network Managers, Network Engineers and C-Level 
Executives
        * Successful Track Record (125% of quota or above)
        * Experience selling complex software-based solutions such as network 
security
        * Experience working with / driving business through Partners and 
Resellers
        * Security Industry Experience (PLUS)
        * Strong technical understanding of Intrusion Detection, Routing, etc. 
(PLUS)
        * Called on Fortune 1000, Federal, State & Local markets (PLUS)

Sales Skills:

        * Proven ability to prospect, qualify, handle objections, close, etc.
        * Great telephone communication skills
        * High activity generation (50+ Calls a day)
        * Ability to sell Concepts / Big Picture / Vision
        * Ability to utilize Web-Based Systems to deliver “on-line” 
presentations / demos
        * •Team Player (works well with team to achieve company and 
individual goals)
        * Ability to Utilize/Maximize all resources at their disposal
        * Ability to balance individual and team performance
