Position: Sr. Security Engineer
Location: Bellevue, Washington, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2006-01-12
The role requires both broad and deep technical knowledge and the ability to
architect a solution by mapping a customer's business problem to an end-to-end
technology solution. Demonstrated ability to engage senior-level technology
decision-makers in discussions related to agility and business value is also a
must. Senior Field Consultants must manage the complete lifecycle of large and
complex projects. They must have a passion for the customer, which is
demonstrated through professionalism and striving for excellence in all aspects
of the customer experience. They must have significant hands-on experience in
UNIX system administration as well as significant exposure to Microsoft Active
Directory.
Responsibilities:
Current and deep experience with implementation of large infrastructure
projects related to networking, identity management, directory services, UNIX
deployments, Windows deployments, and secure computing in a heterogeneous
environment.
Understanding of competitive technology enabling the Field Consultant to
properly assess feasibility of migrating customer solutions, and/or integrating
with customer solutions.
The Consultants must have proven experience managing projects through the
entire project lifecycle. This includes managing
multi-phase/multi-dimensional/multi-resource projects to conclusion while
maintaining high customer satisfaction.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:
Qualifications include hands-on experience in the following technology areas:
The successful candidate will have a BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience
combined with a minimum of 6 years relevant working experience, including
expertise in enterprise architecture, infrastructure deployment and project
management.
Strong fundamental protocol and networking skills, including mastery of LDAP,
DNS, deep understanding of DHCP, client TCP/IP configurations, and fundamental
knowledge of routers, firewalls, VPNs, NAT, etc.
Good understanding and experience of Directory-centric SSO solutions, identity
and access management project lifecycle and implementation.
Strong UNIX system administration skills working on platforms such as Linux,
Solaris, HP/UX, AIX, and Mac OS/X.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS feature set, including Active
Directory and Group Policy.
Working knowledge of Exchange Server and other Server products that rely on
Active Directory a plus.
Preferred certifications will have at least one of the following UNIX
administration and directory services certifications: CCNE, MCSx, CISSP, CCIE
and/or ISSEP.
