Position:       Security Engineer
Location:       Washington DC , District of Columbia, United States
Type:           Permanent F/T

Information Security Analysts – Tier II
Location:  Washington, DC

•  Applicants selected will be subject to a government security 
investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified 
information.  Top Secret clearance required.  
•  Candidate must have a minimum of three years experience in applicable 
technologies. 
•  Candidates must possess experience working with intrusion detection 
systems and researching/tracking vulnerabilities.
•  The candidate must have detailed knowledge of monitoring IDS sensors 
and other data sources for misuse.
•  Candidate may act as shift lead for 2nd or 3rd shift. 
•  Candidate must have detailed knowledge of: 
o       Integrating, operating and maintaining the key technology components 
o       Performing sensor tuning and general IDS system troubleshooting 
o       Developing new signatures/rule sets
o       Performing data analysis 
o       Researching and tracking vulnerabilities 
o       Incident response 
•  Also the candidate should have an industry recognized certification in 
intrusion detection / analysis and vulnerability assessment / penetration 
analysis. 
•  The candidate will be required to complete the internal Standard 
Operational Procedures certification for Security Analysts
•  Engineer will research and track vulnerabilities as well as perform 
penetration studies and vulnerability assessments.
•  Incident response handling.
•  Engineers must be willing to work shifts in a 24/7 environment.
