Position: Security Architect

HEAVY WEIGHT MoD IT SECURITY ARCHITECTURE ROLE - No Lies!
This is a serious role, for which I am seeking a serious technical lead
security solution/system architect, with strong experience in the MoD work
environment. If you’re still reading then I hope you might be the right
person.
You will be able to design, spec and deliver complex diverse IT Security
solutions, from customer needs right through the full project life cycle, to
delivery and handover.
In such an environment, you will also need knowledge and understanding on the
operational systems business space, and evaluation and accreditation of the
solution, and negotiation and problem resolution experience with regard to such
high-profile and complex large scale project prodedures while working to
budgets and plans.
You will need strong customer facing skills, and the ability to mitigate and
solve delivery issues as part of these projects.
You will also need sound technical knowledge of the technologies in use on this
project, and experience of technical involvement in military comms and
messaging. An XP/NT/2003 and UNIX background is also preferable, with knowledge
of Firewalls, IDS, Guards, content Scanning, secure o/s etc.
ALL candidates must have either been previously cleared, or willing to undergo
MoD security clearance as part of this role, due to the nature of the work and
environment.
