Position: Application Security Architect
Location: London, , United Kingdom
Type: Permanent F/T

The key application security functions in EMEA include:
• Application Security Assessments
• Lines Of Business Engagement Coordination
• Developer Training & Consulting on proprietary application security
solutions.
Application Security Assessments (ASA)
• Guide the Lines of Business (LOB) on the ASA process
• Coordinate the regional ASA request pipeline with the Global Engagement
Manager
• Directly conduct specific ASA activities (e.g. secure architecture
review, design review) as required
• Ensure entry of EMEA ASA results into global application security
tracking repositories, and validate key data points rollup into Phoenix
LOB Engagement Coordination
• Ensure consistency of EMEA solutions, services and best practices with
the global application security function
• Link other relevant ITRM functions as needed — serve as single
ITRM interface to LOB application development community
• Address specific LOB requirements and communicate application security
practices and service levels
• Provide ongoing input/feedback to the global Application Security
function on LOB App Sec requirements
Developer Training and Consulting
• Deliver application security oriented training for developers and
information risk managers
• Aid in the coordination of the EMEA training curriculum and calendar
with the global function
• Guide application projects in on-boarding and usage of key app sec
solutions: EAST, SSL, nCipher and PKI
• Guide LOBs on setup of JPMC specific workflow tools in particular
MIDAS/GARS
• Support regional engineering function in troubleshooting complex
technical issues with the LOB
• Ensure coordination and consistency with the global application
security product engineering function
JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with development processes in a corporate environment
• Web Application Development
• Platforms: ASP, .NET, Java/J2EE
• Familiarity with Web Servers
• IIS, iPlanet, Apache
• Familiarity with Web Application Servers
• WebSphere, WebLogic
• Platforms: Windows (OneDesk), Unix
• Databases: Oracle, Sybase, SQL
• Security technologies: EAST, Access Manager, SiteMinder, SSL certs,
nCipher and PKI
• Technical knowledge of network protocols and infrastructure: TCP/IP,
Ethernet, VPN
• Familiar with network infrastructure and hardware (routers, firewalls,
etc.)
