As we continue to expand our products and service offerings, we continue to
search for highly motivated systems and security professionals who posses a
great attitude and solid communication skills. We are currently seeking a
highly motivated and detail-oriented candidate with Web development experience
for a 24/7 Security Operation Center.
The successful candidate will design, implement and maintain Internet/web-based
applications. The individual in this dynamic role will research and track new
web technologies, develop service applications, and analyze business
requirements as they pertain to web-based systems. Other key responsibilities
will include:
Designing and building custom secure Web portals
Implementing a secure and robust portal authentication system
Ensuring system quality and consistency with installation and security policy
and standards
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Bachelor Degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field
Proficiency with one or more the following programming languages: Perl, PHP,
Python, Ruby
3-4 years of PHP and Perl programming and database administration, preferably
with MySQL or PostgreSQL
Working knowledge of Apache and Linux web environments
Experience and knowledge in the design, implementation, and maintenance of
internet/web-based applications
Extensive experience writing applications in Perl and PHP
Extensive experience developing and maintaining application utilizing database
functionality from MySQL or PostgreSQL
Excellent time management skills and capable of meeting tight deadlines
Outstanding organization, project management, and service delivery skills
Strong customer service, analytical/problem solving and problem management
abilities
Ability to work independently, as well as in a highly collaborative team
environment
Solid interpersonal, presentation, and verbal and written communication skills
