Position: Developer
Location: San Antonio, Texas, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2005-12-24
Working in an AR environment, the successful candidate will assist with Help
Desk Module revision, AR Web, SLA revision, and API Programming. The individual
in this role will create, design, develop, test and implement Remedy
applications and workflow enhancements from business requirements, in
accordance with the corporate and client procedures and standards. Key
responsibilities will include:
Serving as a business analyst or project manager on select projects and
training Remedy users as required
Overseeing the daily administration, maintenance, monitoring and support of all
Remedy applications, servers and reporting in a high-available 24x7 environment
Evaluating Remedy application patches, enhancements and new releases
Work with end-users to gather requirements, suggest solutions, troubleshoot
problems and support business needs
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Bachelor Degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field
2-3 years of administrative and development experience using the Remedy Action
Request System, ARS 5.x-6.x
ITSM Suite experience and reporting experience using Crystal 8.x or higher
2+ years experience with full life cycle development, day-to-day maintenance
and administration of Remedy with SLA module
3+ years of experience with SQL
Ability to work independently, as well as in a highly collaborative team
environment
Solid interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
