We are OperationsInc, a human resources consulting firm located in Stamford,
CT. A client of ours specializing in enterprise data security is seeking an
Oracle DBA. Our client’s mission is to protect the most valuable assets
that a company has its enterprise data. They are committed to supplying
database encryption products and services that provide reliability,

not only protect vital information assets, but also enhance corporate
performance. Their goal is to be established as the world's most recognized and
trusted solutions provider for database security.
We are seeking an “A” player who has extensive experience in both the
business and technical aspects of a software sale for this very high profile
position. This highly seasoned Oracle presales person or highly experienced
Oracle DBA will support the Account Executives at their Stamford, CT
Headquarters.
Responsibilities:
The primary goal of this position is to provide prospects with in-depth product
and market knowledge on our Oracle product. Your responsibilities will include
• Partnering directly with sales to find the most effective and timely
solutions
• Achieving service targets
• Managing work flow priorities
• Providing thought leadership externally and within the organization as
you work to present a portfolio of customer focused business solutions through
the application of our client’s software (Secure.Data®).
• Support DBA Activities including:
o Physical database design
o Implementation of data and table-level security
o Setup access rights and space rights for Oracle environment
o Performance tuning, monitoring and reporting
o Review system utilization by user
o Evaluating SQL and table design for enhancement recommendations
o Define backup and recovery methods for the data warehouse
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:
• BA or BS in Business or Computer Science (MS is preferable)
• Hands on experience using the Oracle DBMS product at a database
administration level
• Understanding of the role of technology in solving business issues and
improving ROI
• Oracle experience is required
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills,
analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to travel
• 10 plus years hands on experience in Database consulting, application
development, or systems integration with Oracle
• Solid experience with SQL
• Production DBA experience
• At least 5 years of documented Oracle experience as DBA or Sales
Engineer
• Exceptionally strong presenter and persuader
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills / Strong business acumen
• The ability to write and present documentation and reports in a clear
and concise manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous selling or presales experience of security solutions
• Experience with PCI, HIPPA, Sarbanes-Oxley and/or California 1386.
Salary: $95K - $105K
