Position: Application Security Architect
Location: Leicester, , United Kingdom
Type: Permanent F/T

The role The requirement is to aid in some pre-validation work on the
SAP roles (SAP ISU & CRM only) as part of the security testing process. This
pre-validation will take the form of executing process test scripts to ensure
that the authorisation roles will allow the process to complete.
Project Summary
The project is business process re-engineering and business transformation
programme. It includes the design, development, delivery and implementation of
a billing solution to replace the existing legacy billing and information
systems. The solution will involve:
• SAP ISU to support the financial and billing and metering requirements
• SAP CRM to support Customer Relationship Management, Sales and
Marketing requirements
• Enterprise Application Integration (SAP XI) to manage interfaces
between SAP ISU, SAP CRM and other legacy systems. As well as SAP XI to manage
interfaces with external agencies (e.g. Banks & Receipting agencies: Payware,
LockBox)
• Migration of business functionality over phased releases
• SAP EDM to support half hourly meter read and Real Time Pricing Billing
• SAP BW to meet the Strategic and Business Reporting Needs
Responsibilities Writing process test scripts
Execute primarily pre-existing process test scripts in both CRM and IS-U
Experience The individuals should ideally have an application background
in either/both of CRM and IS-U or at least some general SAP experience. The
resources should also have:-
• Understanding of SAP Security
• Business Processes, ideally Utilities or Customer Service
