Position: Training / Awareness Specialist
Location: Tampa, Florida, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2005-12-18
I am currently conducting a search for a Security Awareness Coordinator in
Tampa Fl. This person will be responsible for providing 1) threat management,
2)security administration, 3)technical guidance on all IT security related
topics and 4) promoting a culture of awareness of security policies and
responsibilities throughout the firm. US IT Security Services works closely
with the IT Security Group, a division of the firm's Global IT organization.
The group is charged with creating global policy and monitoring compliance
with these policies. Security Services is responsible for implementing global
policies, augmenting them with US-specific policies and championing these
policies through the US IT and its associated stakeholders.
The Security Awareness Coordinator will play a key role in creating an
"awareness culture" with respect to IT Security. Key areas of responsibility
include:
Champion both firm-wide and targeted IT Security awareness campaigns
Creation of US-specific IT security policies
Review external contracts with respect to The organization's IT Security
requirements. Liaise with the Firm's Office of the General Counsel and
associated business units to ensure verbiage and compliance
The Security Awareness Coordinator will work closely with both ITSG to
coordinate policy and awareness campaigns. Most importantly, the Security
Awareness Coordinator will have a strong bond with US IT's Business Management
Group's Communications team, to ensure a "common voice" with all external
communications.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:
The role will include the following:
Coordinate ongoing, firmwide security awareness program
Create US-specific security policies
Coordinate review and implementation of Global ITSG security policies
Review 3rd party contracts to ensure correct verbiage/compliance potential for
the organization
Assist CISO is preparing communications/presentations
Manage proactive threat management communication program
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, with at least 3 years experience as a proven communicator in
a complex IT environment
Travel Requirements:
0-20%
