JOB TITLE: TECHNICAL LEAD-SECURITY SERVICES
Location: Seattle, WA is preferred but open to most Western US locations.
Provide technical leadership to the Global Consulting Services Organization.
Manage multiple projects both as a team member and a team leader. Will act as
a key contact with external clients, Symantec Sales and the Consulting
Management team. Will typically be assigned to an identified global region
such as Americas or International.
Develop technical performance requirements and skill matrices for expected
technical hires. Develop across-the-board Consulting operational training
guidelines. Serve as the primary technical interface with the Service
Development team to manage the participation of Consulting team members in
service development activities (including service methodology development and
delivery standardization). Manage the technical participation of Consulting
team members in Channel Support activities. Facilitate solution of technical
issues that impact service delivery. Deliver direct-bill support, serving as a
subject matter expert on high-profile or complex customer engagements.
Participate in business development efforts, including assisting Sales Staff
and Practice Development with proposal development and standardization. Assist
in developing the operations of new regional offices as necessary. Assist in
recruiting additional consulting staff as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or
Business Management, or equivalent experience.
8-10 years demonstrated experience in the consulting services field, with
high-tech security experience desirable. Demonstrated skill in utilizing Excel,
Access, Word and PowerPoint. Demonstrated project management skills.
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills. Certification in Networking
(Raptor, Checkpoint, Cisco, etc), Computer Security (CISSP), or Information
Systems Management (MSP, MSCE, CNE, etc.) desirable.
