Position: Sr. Security Analyst
Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2005-12-18
· Actively monitor and manage the Network Security Firewalls and
DMZ's, which include:
o Checkpoint Firewall-1 VPN-1 NG R55W HA
o Nokia IPSO (IPSO clustering)
o BGP, OSPF, ISIS, EIGRP, IGRP, RIP1, RIP2
o Cisco Catalyst switches
o Managed Security Service Provider (outside vendor) with SNORT IDS
sensors
o IPSEC, Site-to-Site VPNS
o Microsoft ISA 2004 Enterprise HA
o SurfControl Content Filter HA
o BitDefender for ISA HA
o SmartFilter Content Filter
o QoS – LLQ , CBWFQ, etc.
· Project Manage initiatives related to updating and maintaining
the Firewall's and DMZ's.
· Interacts with outside vendors for consulting services and
product assessments/evaluations.
· Provides network design requirements for all projects with
respect to the Firewalls and DMZ's to other Project Managers.
· Provides 24 X 7 trouble resolution support.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
· Desired Certifications: CCSE (checkpoint), CCIE (Cisco), CISSP
(Infosec), MSCE (Microsoft)
· Excellent troubleshooting and protocol analysis skills.
· Outstanding organizational skills.
· Good interpersonal skills.
· Good oral and written communication skills.
· Ability to work independently without close supervision.
· Reliability and trustworthiness in handling confidential
information.
· Ability to work well under pressure and work overtime, when
required.
· Exhibit courtesy, discretion, and good judgement
· Ability to multi-task in a high volume division.
· 3 Years experience with Nokia Firewall Hardware and Nokia IPSO
Software
· Experience with Checkpoint Firewall-1 with application
intelligence
· Experience with Nokia High Availability Cluster Configuration
· Knowledge and Understanding of Information Security Services
· Knowledge and Understanding of IT Policies and Standards
