Position: Security Consultant
Location: Surrey, , United Kingdom
Type: Permanent P/T

Main purpose
of job By utilising long term and well developed contacts with key clients,
these individuals will identify new opportunities, shape offerings and generate
business.
Through their ability to engage with senior clients and influence thinking,
these individuals will help ensure the company is well placed for large
opportunities.
Ability to sell self and others to key clients on a consultancy basis.
Key Accountabilities Proactively sell self and generate work for others
Ability to position the company for large opportunities
Provide leadership on new business activities
Able to work in a consortium environment, impress partners and grow our work
share.

Strong technical background
Consultancy skills
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Experience Extensive knowledge of Security/Intelligence and Defence
markets and good understanding of current security issues.
Domain knowledge in the following areas:
CLAS consultancy, Accreditation Procedure including the preparation of ADSs,
PKI, Identity Management, Security Architectures, Very Large System Design and
BS7799
Very good understanding of future security trends.
Technical Consultancy
Proven track record of generating opportunities for self and others
Evidence of long term relationship with senior client contacts one star level
and above.
Work Based Competencies Essential
Minimum SC clearance
Reputation in the security market.
Evidence of key client contacts/ Proven experience of managing client relations
at a senior level
Strong technical background
Business focus and understanding
Business development skills
Consultancy skills
Desirable
DV cleared
Behavioural Competencies Essential
Good business judgement
Confident communicator
Ability to lead and enthuse others
Strong presentation skills
