Position: Information Assurance Analyst
Location: San Antonio, Texas, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2005-12-17
The successful candidate will be responsible for data analysis, metrics
aggregation, and report generation and distribution. Key responsibilities will
include:
Producing weekly and monthly metrics and status reports, ensuring data
integrity and timely distribution
Maintaining the online calendar of upcoming events
Assisting with the completion and submission of regulatory and compliance
deliverables
Updating the Continuity of Business plan and documentation
Assisting management with headcount/resource analysis and providing ad-hoc
reporting as needed
Documenting activities, exceptions and problems
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
AS or 1-2 working experience in InfoSec industry Network +, Security +, CISSP,
and/or SANS GSEC Certification(s) preferred Understanding of statistical
analysis principles
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts), Word,
PowerPoint, and Outlook
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent problem solving skills
Basic understanding of routing, Internet services and protocols like TCP/IP,
DNS, SMTP, FTP, HTTP, etc.
Knowledge of Windows/Unix operating systems
Experience with SIM tools
Ability to work independently, as well as in a highly collaborative team
environment
Solid interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
