in New York City. The company has breakthrough technology, strong executive
leadership, an experienced engineering team, and a compelling company vision
and strategy. Customers include Fortune 1000 companies and government agencies.
Role and Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Engineering, located in New York
City, the Security Services Manager/Director is responsible for building and
managing a world class technical services team surrounding CounterStorm’s
leading network security products.
* Develop, refine, and apply processes for providing value-added security
analysis services and custom product enhancements for CounterStorm customers.
* Investigate and report on security events in diverse enterprise customer
networks.
* Provide product management and engineering teams with actionable insight
into malicious and benign alarm activity at customer sites.
* Monitor vulnerability announcements and attack trends, and educate
CounterStorm security staff.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:
* Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the network security
field, preferably in managed security services (MSSP) or professional/technical
services for a security product company. Minimum of 2 years in a management
role.
* Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced startup environment with
leading/bleeding edge security technology.
* Excellent project management and documentation skills are required.
* Knowledge and experience using enterprise network and security products,
including IDS/IPS, firewalls, VPNs, routers, and/or managed switches.
* Knowledge of enterprise network planning and operations is a plus.
* Real-world experience in the areas of penetration testing, exploit
development, network exploitation, incident response, vulnerability detection
and identification.
* Current security clearance, or ability to attain security clearance, is a
plus.
Education Requirements:
BA or BS in Computer Science or a related field. CISSP is desired but not
required.
