Incident analysis and handling, vulnerability analysis and assessment, and incident and vulnerability trend analysis. 2. Develop courses of action, GNO responses and countermeasures for execution in response to OPLANS, crisis and contingency operations, vulnerabilities and global network attacks. 3. Review, assess and support development of emerging DOD Information Assurance (IA) policy, computer network defense (CND) policy and doctrine, and DOD network operations and programs. 4. Manage and coordinate network and information systems technical and analytic projects, in conjunction with DoD component commands and other external organizations. Projects can include policy and instruction review, requirements development and analysis, IA, network and network security program monitoring and review, systems and systems security program monitoring, and review concept of operations (CONOPS), as well as TTP development and review. 5. Responsible for responding to an increased workload in the event of an exercise, crisis and contingency. Staffing requirements may increase dramatically during such operations (typically for less than a three-week period). Some contingencies and exercises may require 24x7 support. During the beginning of a contingency, it is expected that contractor shall be prepared to augment staffing for the duration of any contingency and not impact support to other tasks. 6. The Technical Support shall be prepared to deploy to alternate locations for customer operations and participate in Fly Away Teams for crisis deployments on invitational travel order status at the direction of customer. The Government shall provide 24-hour advance notification prior to deployment. Temporary duty may be for extended periods and may require travel outside of the continental United States. 7. Knowledge and experience with system operating systems, networking, network components, network security and TCP/IP, including experience working with DoD systems, networks, architecture and components. 8. DoD program and project management knowledge and experience, including technical knowledge and experience in Microsoft NT/2000/2003 Server Operating Systems, including migration experience from Microsoft NT environments to Windows 2000/2003 environments, including Active Directory. 9. Contractors will be required to attend and/or present briefings at conferences, meetings, and workgroups as necessary to support operations. Contractors may be required to assist customer personnel in conducting technical analysis of DoD computer network events to determine causes of events and methods to prevent future events. Knowledge and experience with joint military operations, C/S/A organization and missions, and military information systems and their performance on and within the GIG. (c.)
