This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced PENETRATION TESTER to join a
leading player. My client is a dedicated penetration testing organisation that
takes pride in being at the forefront of the information security industry.
My client is looking for a penetration tester with AT LEAST 3 GOOD YEARS
EXPERIENCE. Experience that has given you exposure to a wide range of
environments and rock solid experience that has ingrained very high personal
standards of quality in what you do. Your experience will include extensive
manual as well as automated testing methodologies, some of this gained in a
CHECK environment.
You will have a comprehensive understanding of web application technologies and
have done some application development in C, C++, C#, PERL, PHP,.NET or SOAP
XML.
The opportunities for your own development are enormous. As well as building
additional skills such as exploit writing, there are opportunities to develop
team leadership responsibilities for the right person.
Information security accreditations and security clearances are less important
than the right ‘real’ experience, knowledge and mindset.
Salary is up to £40k pa + benefits depending on skills and experience.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

3 years in depth and varied automated and manual penetration testing experience
A comprehensive understanding of web application technologies and their make up
Experience in a CHECK environment
Extensive experience of testing in Unix and Windows based systems
Application development experience in C, C++, C#, PERL, PHP, .NET framework 1.1
or SOAP XML
