JOB DESCRIPTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Major Responsibilities: Participates on consulting projects of a complex
nature where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of
various factors. The Senior Security Consultant is distinguished from other
levels by their ability to evaluate situations and/or data that include
intangible variance factors. The Senior Security Consultant will also have
subject matter expertise with a large portfolio of Symantec security solutions.
Evaluate factors and exercise critical independent judgment within broadly
defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation
criteria for obtaining results. Actively identify clients and collaborate with
Sales Team through final invoicing, including leading and/or providing critical
input to the proposal development process. Develop customized deliverables for
clients. May act as a team lead on medium to large size consulting projects.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Position Requirements
and Education: 4-6 years experience in a consulting environment with
demonstrated experience as a System or Network Administrator within a Windows
or Unix environment. Expert knowledge of system architecture, total security
solutions, and internet protocols and applications. Experience configuring and
implementing technical security solutions (firewalls and intrusion detection
systems). Excellent customer interface skills. Strong oral and written
communication skills. Excellent Project management skills. Bachelor's degree or
equivalent experience. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CISA desirable
Critical Success Factors : In depth knowledge of Symantec's antivirus and
client security solutions. Experience with designing and implementing Symantec
AntiVirus on desktops and servers in an enterprise environment. Experience with
designing and implementing Symantec Enterprise Security Architecture solutions.
Ability to effectively communicate at the technical level with network
administrators and at the business level with upper management.
