Position: Sales Engineer
Location: New York (various other locations), New York, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

ArcSight Sales Engineer
Position Responsibilities:
Oversees pre-sales support of company products/systems.
Provides technical support in sales presentations, product
demonstrations, installation and maintenance of company products to
ensure that the system is functioning according to specifications.
Provides answers to customer inquiries concerning system software and
applications. Provides software development and consultation to
prospective users. May build a mini-application based on customer
requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often
requiring rapid prototyping.
Locations: I (New York,) II (Central Region,) III (Eastern Region--Boston or
NY or Atlanta or Wash DC).
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required Experience with:
Operating Systems: Linux, Solaris, Windows
Networking
Firewall, IDS, router 3rd party system knowledge
5 Years Pre-sales Experience
Desired Experience:
Experience with SIM preferred
BSCS or equiv. preferred
