Security Analyst
Position Description:
This engineer will work with the other members of the Content Team to develop
compliance/network operations/security- related system content, including
correlation rules, visualization and analysis dashboards and summary reports.
This is a hands-on position which requires the ability to swiftly analyze and
understand security issues, compliance documents and any other information
related to ArcSight's core business uses.
Responsibilities:
Identify possible areas for content improvement or new content. Implement or
update system content including rules, reports and dashboards. Analyze
security vulnerabilities and implement appropriate detection content. Examine
vendor/device capabilities and create content to further leverage those
capabilities across the enterprise. Document system content. Work with QA and
the Documentation team to ensure the quality of system content. Test new and
existing systems content prior to release or update. The ability to write and
understand Java, Perl or C code will also prove helpful.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required Experience:
2+ years of hands-on experience with a broad cross-section of network and /or
system security tools.
Good communications skills.
Hands-on exposure to SQL databases.
