Position: Security Consultant
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States
Type: Contract
Closing Date: 2005-11-20
Provide security consulting to the project teams responsible for data exchanges
with service providers, customers and financial partners.
Assist the business units, project teams and vendor representatives in
reviewing all data exchanges with a vendor and devising the best solution from
within the available data exchange options offered by Data Transmission Support
(DTS).
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:
" Demonstration of strong written and oral communication skills and strong
organization skills. " Ability to quickly understand various transmissions
currently in use, and determine a best fit among available secure solutions. "
Ability to manage multiple simultaneous sub-projects and provide concise,
understandable status reports. " Knowledge of various file transmission
methodologies such as FTP, Sterling Software transmission products (NDM,
Connect:Direct, Connect:Enterprise), MQ Series, SNA, Secure FTP. " Knowledge of
PGP and WinZip with encryption, and a full understanding of how to securely
implement the products in a business unit that exchanges data with a non-bank
unit. Firsthand experience in implementation and use of the products is a plus.
" Understanding of secure messaging solutions, including Sigaba, S/Mime, IPSEC
between bridgehead routers, VPN tunneling. " Ability to defuse confrontations
and tactfully escalate issues. " Knowledge of financial services busine
ss a plus. " Knowledge of Bank of America organization a plus. " CISSP, CISA,
are recommended, not required. " Ideally, the individual will possess
background in System Networking and Communication Protocols.
