The Corporate Systems Engineer provides pre-sales technical support and
technical expertise to field SEs and Telecom and Enterprise customers
Responsibilities includes technical presentations, demonstrations and network
testing for customers; proof-of-concept testing to validate customer tests,
network designs and network deployments using new products and features;
evaluating performance, scaling, security and interoperability testing; design
guidelines recommending improvements to customers and Systems Engineers for the
networks they support; provide feedback to product management, engineering and
other technical teams for new and existing products for features, reliability
and availability; and ownership of issues and questions from field System
Engineers globally. He or she will also be working with all other clients
product lines, its third party partner products, and services.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Requirements:
Expert level knowledge in the following areas is required: TCP/IP RIP, OSPF,
IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, Multicast, IPv6, IPsec, RADIUS, 802.11x, VPNs, QoS, Firewall
Security, WAN technologies & protocols, NMS systems; JUNOS CLI, experience with
Agilent, Spirent, IXIA traffic generators.
Proficient network design & troubleshooting skills are a must. Excellent
presentation skills are essential. JNCIE, JNCIP, CCIE certifications are a
plus.
Minimum BS / BA in engineering / computer science or 4 years equivalent work
experience in computer communications.
Expertise in JUNOS CLI, TCP/IP routing protocols, UNIX / Linux, IP Router
network design & troubleshooting.
Baseline knowledge of Juniper or Cisco products.
Ability to work with system engineers and customers within the context of a
competitive sales environment.
Strong knowledge of testing tools and ability to set up test environments.
Programming skills for test setup and scripting.
Work within lab environment and has excellent problem solving skills.
Positive attitude, a desire to learn new technologies and the ability to handle
interruptions.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Must be able to travel as necessary..
