Position: Security Product Manager
Location: Allentown, Pennsylvania, United States

IT Security Program Manager
The Security Program Manager will lead the Core IT Security Group, providing
global security leadership to my clients IT organization. This position calls
for a general background in all areas of IT security but requires a particular
focus on Unix, Linux, applications and database Security. Other
responsibilities will include site assessment, policy enforcement, maintenance
of the clients IT Security Policies and its IT security website, monitoring
mailing lists (e.g. CERT), and patch management.
Applicants must be well versed in standards for operating system, application
and database security and proficient in assessing the security requirements for
each. They will be required to demonstrate a track record in project management
and documentation, as this role will be responsible for not only identification
of gaps but also designing and overseeing the execution of corrective actions
with an emphasis on automating where possible administrative tasks and
reporting tools.
Salary: $110,000 + Bonus
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must be familiar with multiple Unix and Linux operating systems, and have a
working knowledge of security issues, threats, and solutions for each platform.
Must be familiar with various security products used to monitor and lock down
these environments. Must work well with the global IT team in the US, Europe
and Asia, as well with organizations outside of IT including legal, Corporate
Security and engineering. Must be self driven and have excellent communications
and team leadership skills.
Five years experience with security in Unix/Linux, business applications and
databases. Specific knowledge of Oracle 11i desirable. Security certifications
desirable (e.g. CISSP). Knowledge of IT security within other environments
(e.g. Microsoft and networking) desirable. Knowledge of law and legislation
(e.g. SOX) desirable.
