Software QA Engineer
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
· Strong general SQA skills, including a good eye for details.
· Ability to understand complex usage and deployment cases.
· Experience in developing test plans and test environments for
complex networking and security features and integration cases
· Test automation and scripting skills (e.g. Perl)
· Knowledge of networking fundamentals at a functional level,
e.g. TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, etc.
· General lab administration skills: UNIX, Windows, client/server
applications, switches, and routers.
· Ability to clearly and precisely communicate technical issues
(i.e. bug reports, bug reproduction, etc).
· Versatility: ability to learn new skills quickly (including
third party applications) and willingness to try new things
· A self starter and team player: highly motivated, able to
contribute and acquire new technical skills with minimal guidance
Most qualified applicants will have 2 to 5 years of professional software QA
and testing experience and a BS or MS in computer science.
