Position: Application Security Engineer
Location: Vienna, Virginia, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2005-11-14
Leader in application security is seeking a Sr. Application Security Engineer.
Working with their Customer Services team, their CTO, and the sales and
business development team you will plan, design, project manage, develop and/or
deliver solutions and/or consulting to their customers. You will prepare
proposals and high-level designs to address specific customer requirements. You
will deliver training, support customers during critical phases of their
product development, and resolve customer problems. You will be responsible for
providing customer feedback to help drive the direction of the company's
products, services and solution offerings. You may also design and/or implement
solutions for incorporation into the product offering.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

· Previous development experience in C (C++, assembly and Java
are an asset)
· Previous presentation/training to customers (this includes
creation of documentation)
· 8+ years experience
· College degree preferably in Computer Science/Engineering
coupled with practical experience
· A technical aptitude to understand our complex technology and
deliver effective presentations
· Ability to travel up to 25%
· Experience in project planning and/or first level management
role
· Security knowledge of cryptography (symmetric and public key),
and/or reverse engineering, hacking, digital rights management (DRM),
conditional access systems (CAS), and copy protection
· Knowledge of security application design and implementation
practices
· Active US security clearance (TS or above)
Successful candidates lacking application security experience will be trained.
