Position: Security Engineer

Qulays is headquarterd in Redwood Shores, California, with European offices in
France, Germany and the U.k., and Asian representatives in Japan, Singapores,
Australia, Korea and the Republic of China
The Security Engineer will take ownership of the prime technical relationship
with our pre-sales customers to drive customer satisfaction by proactively
managing and delivering technical information to our customers both onsite,
online, and via telephone. You will be the main technical resource on sales
calls, articulate and demonstrate Qualys solutions by educating the customer on
issues ranging from features, specification and functionality to integration,
and position products relative to competition. While working in conjunction
with Sales, Marketing, and Product Managers, the Sales Engineer (SE) will be
the technical bridge between our Sales Representatives and their pre-sales
customers. The SE will also support the Regional Sales Manager in pre-sales
role to develop and position solutions involving Qualys products. You will also
be required to travel throughout an assigned territory and actively deliver
presentations at high level speaking engagements at seminars and tr
ade shows.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

- 8-10 years successful experience in sales of security solutions directly to
Corporate Customers
- Strong understanding of network security and vulnerability assessment.
- Knowledgeable with penetration testing and hacking methodologies.
- Strong communication, presentation, and intangible skills are a must.
- Hands on experience in integrating ecommerce applications and solutions.
- Must be comfortable contributing at all levels within targeted accounts.
- Ability to travel 25% of the time
