Position: Sr. Security Analyst

The Logistics and Engineering Solutions Business Unit has an Information
Assurance position located in Dearborn, MI. IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS
POSITION, CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS EITHER AN ACTIVE DOD SECRET OR HIGHER
SECURITY CLEARANCE BASED ON A NACLC OR SSBI BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION OR AN
ACTIVE AND CURRENT IT2 OR IT1 PUBLIC TRUST POSITION CERTIFICATION THAT CAN BE
TRANSFERRED., SAIC was awarded a Subcontract Win with Hewlett Packard as the
Prime Contractor, supporting the Defense Logistics Agency Enterprise Data
Center- http://www.dla.mil/public_info/read_news.asp?track=213., Individual
will report to the SAIC Data Center Security Operations Center (SOC)
Information Assurance (IA) Site Lead. Individual will be responsible for
managing the Symantec (Corporate Edition) Anti-Virus program in a large
Department of Defense Data Center operation. Individual is responsible for all
aspects of the anti-virus program within the enterprise. The candidate will
understand and ap
ply knowledge of anti-virus techniques and implementations throughout the
enterprise. The candidate will be responsible for: leading anti-virus
engineering projects for key security technology deployments; managing SLA
requirements for key anti-virus monitoring activities; ensuring 100% system
uptime of all critical anti-virus security components; identifying new products
and services to compliment or improve current anti-virus security systems and
devices; perform anti-virus risk assessments and anti-virus penetration tests
of critical anti-virus infrastructure assets. In addition the candidate will be
responsible for assisting in the identification of security breaches and
intrusions, initiate alerts and recovery actions, and participate in Computer
Incident Response Team and Forensics analysis activities in relation to
virus/WORM outbreaks. Individual will be required to work various scheduled
shifts to support a 24x7x365 operational capability. Relocation is available.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must have a minimum of 7 year’s hands-on experience in general Information
Technology experience with 3-5 years experience in Symantec anti-virus
implementation and management at the enterprise level. Must demonstrate the
skill and ability to apply anti-virus concepts and practices in the evaluation
of diverse DoD IT systems; familiarity with a broad range of operating systems
and business applications; experience managing systems engineering projects for
IT security; must have proven experience in anti-virus Incident Response
handling and analysis processes and procedures; hands-on, enterprise level
management and monitoring experience with Symantec Anti-Virus Corporate Edition
is a must. IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS
