Position: Information Assurance Engineer
Location: Washington, District of Columbia, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

Information Assurance Test Engineer
Location: Washington, DC
•Applicants selected will be subject to a government security
investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified
information. Top Secret is required.
•Must have demonstrable experience in the following areas of expertise:
Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration Testing, Network Administration, and
Certification and / or Accreditation.
•Must possess experience with Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration
Testing tools, specifically with port-scanning tools.
•Experience with Windows Active Directory domains and be able to evaluate
the network as a whole.
•Certification and Accreditation programs are generally derived from
DITSCAP, DCID 6/3 or NIST so candidates should be familiar with one of these
standards.
•Must have a working knowledge of: Windows NT, 2000, XP, Some form of
Unix (HP or Solaris) or Linux, Active Directory, Intrusion Detection,
Firewalls, and Router and Switch Configuration (primarily Cisco).
•Engineer will work closely with the system administrators to assist them
with the evaluation of the network as a whole.
•Engineer will perform vulnerability scans and penetration tests to this
government customer’s enterprise network infrastructure.
