Position: Security Engineer
Location: Washington DC, , United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2005-10-21
Must have 2-3 yrs of hand-on experience in intrusion detection systems (IDS)
and security engineering/administration. Strong understanding of TCP/IP,
vulnerabilities and Microsoft applications are desired. Work is performed in
customer's facility so professional bearing and appearance are required. You
must be able to communicate in a professional manner in both speech and in
writing.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Position requires professional and technical training directly related to
network security engineering. Professional certification such as CISSP, SANS
GIAC, CCNP, CCNA is highly desirable. The position requires advance knowledge
in information security, intrusion detection and threat & vulnerability trends.
This position also requires a functional knowledge of networking, Microsoft
applications, and enterprise security applications such as ISS Internet Scanner
and Site Protector. A background investigation is required. All investigation
paperwork must be complete before the first day of work.
