Position: Sr. Security Analyst
Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2005-10-17
As a Senior Information Security Analyst you will understand threats and
perform risk analysis.
You will be required to update the information security policy, standards and
guidelines, clearly documenting and communicating any deviations from these
with reasons for the deviation.
You will act as the Senior Information Security Analyst, advising the business
on acceptable security practice and ensuring delivery of that practice.
You will keep abreast with changes to technology, legal and organisational
changes to show that the company has recognised and responded to the need for
appropriate and prudent measures to ensure protection of information in
response to legal and other requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

You will have broad based understanding of Information Security across many
different technologies.
You will have experience of methods and techniques for the assessment and
management of risks.
You will be proficient in setting standards and principles.
You will be proficient in applying the principles, processes and practices and
advising the business an appropriate security issues.
You will be experienced in monitoring and compliance of security policy and
standards.
You will demonstrate an easy and confident familiarity with key IT concepts and
technologies.
Certified at CISSP Professional Level or equivalent.
A minimum of 5 years commercial IT experience in an Information Security
department.
