Position: Application Security Engineer
Location: Santa Clara, California, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2005-10-16
As part of WhiteHat's service team you will perform web application assessments
for WhiteHat's corporate clients. You will also directly contribute to
improving WhiteHat's scanning technology by providing direct feedback to the
development team on new features and functionality of WhiteHat's assessment
platform. If you are tired of performing web application assessments the old
fashioned way, join our team and move the web application security space into
the future.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
* Knowledge of web application auditing best practices
* Use of web application testing tools like proxies
* Familiarity with popular web application platforms (.NET, J2EE, PHP etc...)
* Experience with finding all of the WASC classes of vulnerabilities
(http://www.webappsec.org/projects/threat/)
* Basic knowledge of javascript, HTML, and SQL
