SafeNet is looking for highly motivated and energetic software engineers to
help grow our anti-piracy services. If you are interested in participating in
the rapidly evolving world of peer-to-peer networking, and have real-world
experience with file sharing, we have several challenging projects for you.
As an Advisory Software Engineer, you will play a lead role on our team. You
will help define new products and solutions, creating new market space.
Responsibilities:
* Conceive and test new anti-piracy strategies
* Assist with architecture
* Serve as a go-to person for technical issues
* Develop expert knowledge of peer-to-peer networks
* Play a leading role in the design and implementation of software services
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:
* Hands-on experience with major file sharing applications (BitTorrent,
eDonkey, Usenet, Gnutella)
* Expert knowledge of C++, C, SQL and object oriented design
* Experience as a technical lead for small projects
* Creative problem solving abilities
* Extensive experience with networking protocols (IP, TCP, UDP) and socket
programming
* Experience with Linux system administration and shell scripting
* Familiarity with network monitoring (e.g. Ethereal)
* Familiarity with mySQL
* Knowledge of Software Engineering best practices
* 4 year college degree (BA or BS) or equivalent
The typical candidate will have 5-10 years of relevant experience in software
development, and have served as a technical lead for small projects. We will
also consider less experienced candidates from top-notch institutions.
