VB.NET Developer
Systems Programmer
Position for a Systems Programmer is for an IT professional that has 5+ yrs
experience with design, development & implementation of advanced applications.
We are looking for a talented individual who has hands on experience migrating
complex VB 6 applications to VB.NET.
Applicant must have expert level experience in Visual Basic.NET with SQL-Server
2000 and Complex Stored Procedures. Must demonstrate proficiency in using Event
Driven programming, Object oriented methodology, Multi-Threading, XML based Web
Services, and ASP.NET. Candidate should have a strong understanding of TCP/IP
and various protocols (SMTP, DNS, HTTP, etc.) Any experience and knowledge of
C#, C++ is beneficial.
This person needs to be a “big picture” thinker and assess the
system-wide impacts changes or additions will have on our platform.
The major duties & responsibilities include: gathering requirements, data
analysis, implementing solutions by coding class modules and SQL.
Preference will be given to individuals with excellent communication skills.
