Position: Security Consultant

Computer Associates International, Inc. (NYSE: CA) is one of the world's

operations, security, storage, life cycle and service management . We are
currently looking for a qualified Senior Accountant to join our Finance team at
our worldwide headquarters in Islandia, NY.
This position is responsible for compiling, analyzing, reviewing, approving and
reporting of North America financial information for services to determine or
maintain record of revenue, profit and loss, liabilities or other financial
activities with the General Accounting group. Responsibilities include
compilation and/or review of statistical, financial, accounting or auditing
reports and data pertaining to expenditures, accruals, and other services
financial transactions, performing month over month variance analysis of
various account activities, designing and developing reporting and systematic
processes as needed, assisting with the preparation of forms and manuals for
services accounting personnel, and participation in the implementation and
on-going maintenance of ERP and other new applications for services.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate will have 3 or more years experience in services
accounting with an emphasis on financial reporting and general ledger,
experience working directly with customers and in documentation of policies and
procedures, and prior experience and ability to prepare and review complex
financial analysis. Also required are strong analytical skills, comprehensive
financial and accounting knowledge including billing, revenue and financial
reporting, proficiency in MS Office including Excel, strong organizational
skills and attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication
skills. The ability to travel 5% annually is required. A Bachelor's degree in
Accounting or Finance is preferred as is a CPA designation.
